But the IDEAL way is to have him be part of a chunk of game dealing with the defence of Sanghelios, where the Arbiter sends you as Blue or Osiris to link up with his forces repelling the Prometheans, and the Shadow of Intent appears overhead to lend some heavy firepower. 343 did announce that both Shadow of Intent and Saints Testimony will be included in Halo Fractures, a compilation of short stories coming out in September 2016. I'm sure there will be an audiobook format.

So I've read all the halo novels up to this newest one (new blood) and the one that just came out last week. I want to know if anyone has read those yet and if they recommend them. The new blood one doesn't look very interesting to me (not a fan of ODST story lines.) I'd really like more storyline on the glasslands/kilo 5 trilogy, but I guess that's asking for too much. Anyway sorry for rambling, but can someone give me a list of every halo novel from start to finish so i can make sure I've read em all?

This is how it began . . . It is the year 2524. Harvest is a peaceful, prosperous farming colony on the very edge of human-controlled space. But we have trespassed on holy ground – strayed into the path of an aggressive alien empire known as “The Covenant.” What begins as a chance encounter between an alien privateer and a human freighter catapults mankind into a struggle for its very existence.
But humanity is also locked in a bitter civil war known as the “Insurrection.” So the survival of Harvest’s citizens falls to a squad of battle-weary UNSC Marines and their inexperienced colonial militia trainees. In this unlikely group of heroes, one stands above the rest . . . a young Marine staff sergeant named Avery Johnson.
